| There is no end of fun to be had at Penwarn. Take beautiful walks through the 3 000 acre property, or use Penwarn as your base to hike in the mountains. Explore the rolling grasslands on horseback- we have seven superb eventing horses to satisfy the very experienced as well as the complete novice. Enjoy the rivers and waterfalls on hot summer days and go tubing or canoeing. The numerous farm and game tracks are great for mountain-biking, and the sandstone cliffs for abseiling. These cliffs are also a shelter for some exceptional Bushman rock art including that of an enormous eland. Penwarn is the delight of wild flower enthusiasts, and we organise wild flower tours in season. We are also one of the few destinations in South Africa to be able to offer the possibility of snow in the winter months and all the snowball-fighting, snowman-building fun that goes with it. | ||||
