Little Nimrod Rothchild

On 24 June Peta received a phone call from the local vet. He had received a young male spotted neck otter injured by Paul Roth’s Jack Russell while swimming in the Polela River. Dr Tod Collins was about to euthenase the little chap because of his poor prognosis, but thought better of that and decided to pass it on to Penwarn with a slim chance of survival.

He was christened "Little Nimrod Rothchild"- after his rescuer – and, we are grateful to report, is hale and hearty, taking over from his predecessor in so many identical ways; the only difference being that he has a much kinder nature and is not as "nippy" and aggressive.
